Latest partnership reflects PressReader’s growing network of U.S. library partners, expanding access to global newspapers for local communities.
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA – July 14th, 2026 – PressReader has partnered with Orange County Public Libraries (OCPL) to provide more than 1.6 million residents with all-you-can-read access to global newspapers and a selection of daily puzzles.
With a digital catalog providing thousands of leading newspapers from around the world, including USA Today, the California Post, World Journal, EL PAÍS and The Economist, as well as a daily selection of puzzles, PressReader directly supports two of OCPL’s goals of offering complimentary expert guidance and resources for patrons. As well as creating meaningful experiences through inclusive programs, services and outreach.
PressReader’s catalog of international publications available in over 60 languages, along with translation and text-to-speech features, will help OCPL build language skills while staying connected to familiar content.
PressReader also provides an engaging way for users of all abilities to discover and compare multiple sources of quality journalism and diverse perspectives from around the globe, supporting OCPL’s values of engendering a love of learning and reading.
